It is common for rich men to affiliate their wealth to hard work, a way of thinking or some special skill or talent. Singaporean millionaire, Philip Ng stated otherwise in an interview with Matthew Yao. He attributed his success to God, through Jesus Christ.
“I was always in search of a better life, better purpose, better me…better everything,” said Mr. Ng. “But when I realized that there is no better me or better things without Jesus, then it all snapped in place”
Mr. Philip Ng is Chairman of Far East Organization (FEO) in Singapore. Philip Ng, along with his brother Robert, according to Bloomberg, has an estimated net worth of US$9.8 billion. They ranked No. 131 in the Forbes list of richest on a worldwide scale.
His last remarks to the youth were to accept that there is a missing piece. He believes that peace, joy, and hope is found only in Jesus Christ. “It sure beats a lot of money and material things you may have”, said Mr. Philip Ng.
